Moonlight Snowshoeing

Show. We need snow. The event runs even without it though.

In the city no less!

We have two evenings picked out, Tuesday, January 10, and Tuesday, February 7. If the weather cooperates, these evenings have moonlight. The destinations have convenient parking, and they are transit accessible.

These events will run. If there is not enough snow for snowshoeing, we will hike.

Afterwards, we will find a nice pub for a drink or two and some food.

Tuesday January 10
High Park: we meet at the entrance on Bloor Street at High Park Avenue at 6:45pm. The parking on Bloor Street is free. The High Park subway station is right across the street.
Tuedsay February 7
Colonel Samuel Smith Park: we meet on the south-east corner of Lakeshore and Kipling at 6:45pm. We will hike out onto the spit and check out the city lights off in the distance. You can take the Queen streetcar (Long Branch) out there. You can take the Kipling bus down from the subway. There is on-street parking on weeknights.
