Beginner Lesson Programs |
|
These day trips are geared toward the beginner cross-country skier or snowshoer. Most of the X-Country Ski School instructors are on hand for lessons and activities aimed at giving the beginner the best possible introduction to cross-country skiing.
Don’t feel left out if you are not a beginner. More experienced skiers still can get lessons on these days.
(Note: The 2010 Beginners’ Series is now history. To learn how it went, read Vera’s highly entertaining article!)
For those individuals who would like a progression of techniques taught to them at the beginner level. We are offering a three-day series where you will have a chance to develop basic cross-country ski skills. Emphasis will be placed on increasing your ski ability so that at the end of the series you will be comfortable skiing beginner to intermediate trails. Emphasis will be placed on your ability to ski down (and up) hills on cross country trails. Vera Polyakova, our Ski School Director, will be the lead instructor for this series. Please contact her at: xcskischool@highparkskiclub.com and put "Beginners Series" in the title.
This is a great way to develop your skills quickly, if you have never skied before.
