About the Downhill & Snowboarding Snow School

The High Park Snow School consists of 65 instructors who are certified with the Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance (CSIA) the Canadian Ski Coaching Federation (CSCF) and/or the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI). Many instructors have professional certification from two or all three of these organizations.  As part of the Snow School all instructors must attend mandatory technical sessions both on and off the hill provided by elite Snow School professionals throughout Ontario and Quebec.  Ski lessons are modelled after the CSIA STEP program that is used by most ski resorts in Canada.  Snowboarding lessons are modelled after the QuickRide Program which is endorsed by CASI.  We deliver lessons based on the national ski teaching standard while promoting and teaching the importance of ski safety along with a focus on fun and meeting HPSC members.
