Transportation:

We will coordinate car pooling or arrange rental vans for an additional charge. As a guide, departure from Toronto will be 4:00 PM but can be flexible depending on member’s arrangements.

Cost:

$245 per person (includes taxes), $252 credit card

Single rooms: add $45 (includes taxes), $51 credit card

Dog Sledding is available and must be booked prior to the weekend

$185 plus taxes for ½ day Dog Sledding, paid directly to the dog sled operator.

Booking Deadline:

If paying by cheque, the deadline is December 31, 2011.

If paying by credit card, the deadline is February 2, 2012.

Trip Description:

Algonquin Eco Lodge is located on the southern boarder of the park and only a 3 hour drive from Toronto. It is tucked away in a secluded area of the park and has the atmosphere of a European mountain lodge featuring indoor plumbing, hot showers, and a wood fired sauna.

There is 60 km of groomed wilderness XC ski trails inside Algonquin Park and is one of the largest trail systems in Ontario. For the snowshoe enthusiast, there are 3 dedicated snowshoe trails with the opportunity to make your own trails with the use of a GPS which is provided by the lodge. After a full day of skiing or snowshoeing you can relax in the hot tub and sauna to ease those tired muscles!

All applicable fuel surcharges and taxes in effect as of August 2011 have been included in the package price. However in these volatile times HPSC reserves the right to charge for unanticipated increases in the cost of fuel, foreign exchange and taxes imposed by the resort or bus company.
